Sundance Vacations Supports the 10th Annual Pauly Friedman 5K Family Walk/Run!

On Sunday, August 5, 2018, the Family Service Association will hold its 10th Annual Pauly Friedman 5K Family Walk/Run at Misericordia University!

The registration fee will be either $25 per person or $20 per student, with an additional $5 up-charge after July 19. Teams are encouraged, but to be a team you would have needed 5 or more individuals.

All proceeds raised benefit the Help Line/211 which provides NEPA residents with 24/7 telephone information, referral, advocacy, and after hour crisis support 365 days a year. The Help Line has handled over 2.8 million calls since the start of operations in 1972.

Registration for the Walk/Run began at 8:00 AM and the walk/run will start at 9:00 AM. After the Walk/Run, there will be a post-race award event which will include refreshments, music, face painting, gift basket raffles and more!

Participants can also pick up their race packet from 2-6 PM on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Valley Running Co (900 Rutter Avenue in Forty Fort) or in the morning of the event at registration.

Post-race awards include:

1st, 2nd and 3rd place runners, with best overall times in the following age categories:

15 & Under
16-19
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60 & Over

Awards for Walkers:

Trophies will be awarded for first place overall Male and Female walkers, with medals also awarded to the 2nd and 3rd place walkers.

Other Awards:

The Team who has the most participants will take home the “Anne Glauber Team Spirit” traveling trophy!
The Team that raises the most money will take home the “Answer the Call” traveling trophy!
