Sundance Vacations Selected as one of Best Places to Work in Illinois

Sundance Vacations, a wholesale vacation company with offices across Illinois, New Jersey, Washington DC, Illinois, and Pennsylvania, continues to set the bar high when it comes to creating the best-of-the-best in working environments.

The most recent milestone set by Sundance Vacations is being selected as one of the 2014 Best Places to Work in Illinois.
This latest business accomplishment comes on the heels of Sundance being selected as one of the 100 Best Places to Work in New Jersey.
The distinction of being one of the Best Places to Work in Illinois has been bestowed upon Sundance’s office in Downers Grove, Illinois.
The ranking of the 65 Best Places to Work in Illinois will be unveiled at an awards ceremony Tuesday, May 12, 2014, at the Marriott Chicago Oak Brook, 1401 W. 22nd St., Oak Brook, Illinois. The Business Ledger will publish a special issue profiling the companies selected as the Best Places to Work in Illinois on June 23 and coverage also will be provided by its parent publication, The Daily Herald.
“We are humbled and honored to be selected as one of the best places to work in Illinois. This is a true testament to the high standards set by the employees at our Downers Grove office,” said Tina Dowd, co-founder of Sundance Vacations.
In addition to earning the distinction of being one of the Best Places to Work in Illinois, Sundance Vacations also will receive the Employee Feedback Report. The in-depth report will come under separate cover from the Best Companies Group and will be sent in May.
The Employee Feedback Report is a summarized analysis of Sundance Vacations’ employees’ responses to the 78-question internal Employee Engagement and Satisfaction Survey. The report is rich with information that can be used by Sundance Vacations to identify areas where it is doing well and where there are opportunities to improve. The report also includes employee comments from two open-ended questions on the employee survey, as well as state benchmarking data. The Employee Feedback Report served as an extremely valuable tool in compiling the Best Places to Work in Illinois.

Sundance Vacations also was one of 38 large companies to be selected as of of the 100 Best Places to Work in New Jersey by the publication NJBIZ. The companies will be ranked at a special awards dinner to be held May 1, 2014, at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick. The ceremony will recognize and congratulate each winning company for being dedicated to employees’ growth and quality of life.
