WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Sundance Vacations, a leading provider of destination-based vacations, was named a Finalist today in the 2016 Stevie® Awards for Great Employers, and will ultimately be a Gold, Silver or Bronze Stevie Award winner in the program in late September.
The above mentioned award is presented by the Stevie Awards, which organizes several of the world’s leading business awards shows including the prestigious International Business Awards and American Business Awards. As this is the first year for the Awards for Great Employers program, it is also the first time that Sundance Vacations has qualified for this honor.
With 25 years of experience in the travel industry, Sundance Vacations has proven to be a leader in employee satisfaction, placing on numerous “Best Places to Work” lists in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Illinois multiple times over the last 10 years. The final results will be announced during a gala event on Friday, September 30 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City, New York. Finalists from the US and several other nations are expected to attend.
More than 250 nominations from organizations around the world were evaluated in this year’s competition. Winners were determined by the average scores of more than 50 professionals worldwide, acting as judges. The Stevie Awards for Great Employers recognize achievement in many facets of the workplace. Stevie Award winners in the 34 Employer of the Year categories were determined by a unique blending of the ratings of professionals and the votes of the general public. More than 44,000 votes were cast by members of the public for their favorite employer.
