Sundance Vacations offers our travelers a number of great destinations and are constantly looking to add more to better serve our customers. We thought to ourselves, what better way to get the word out about some of these destinations, then to profile them a little more in-depth. This can be especially helpful when our destination areas are so versatile, in other words, they can be used and enjoyed any time of the year!
The Pocono Mountains has been a favorite destination spot for decades and whether it is summer or winter, you can be sure that you will find an activity that can keep you busy! As the temperature drops, vacationers can find a whole different set of activities in the Poconos.
As you may have guessed, with the on-set of winter and the fact that the Poconos are in the Appalachian Mountains, it makes for a perfect environment for skiing and snowboarding. If winter sports like these are your cup of tea, the Pocono Mountains is certainly a great destination for just that. Don’t forget that most ski resorts offer other activities too, such as snow-tubing, snowshoeing and even ice skating!
If you are not into that sort of thing, there are a ton of other options that can keep you occupied. Shopping, concerts, comedy shows, historical and educational attractions and much, much more are all available to you.
No matter what you are into, the Poconos is sure to have something to offer you. Read the full story, complete with maps and links to popular destinations on our Blog site: “Wintertime in the Pocono Mountains”
