Sundance Vacations Holds Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at New Tamaqua Office
Sundance Vacations, a leading provider of discount travel accommodations, celebrated the grand opening of its new marketing office in Tamaqua, PA with a ribbon cutting ceremony on July 9, 2012. President John Dowd officiated the ribbon cutting along with Co-Founder, Tina Dowd. Also in attendance for the festivities were Senator David Argall, Tamaqua Mayor, Chris Morrison, State Representatives Jerry Knowles and Doyle Heffley, Linda Yulanavage, Executive Director of the Tamaqua Chamber of Commerce, and many others.
The office, which will be the new home for almost 60Sundance Vacations marketing employees, is located at 1201 East Broad Street, Suite A Rear, Tamaqua, PA. Sundance’s previous office in Tamaqua was a much smaller space located on Route 309 North.
John Dowd said, “We are trying to build the best possible place for our employees to work. Our goal is to get people to come to work at Sundance Vacationsand stay with us for a long, long time. We are making significant upgrades to our marketing departments. One important feature of this new office is that it has a specialized training area.”
Debbie Kovich, Tamaqua Evening Shift Marketing Manager, had this response when asked about the new office, “I am absolutely thrilled. It’s gorgeous! It’s much bigger. It’s like a dream!”
