Sundance Vacations Receives Three Bronze Stevie Awards
Sundance Vacations, a leading provider of discount travel accommodations, was presented with three Bronze Stevie® Awards at the 10th Annual American Business Awards this past Monday in New York City.
The American Business Awards are the premier business awards program in the United States recognizing outstanding performance in the workplace. More than 3,000 nominations from organizations of all sizes, across the United States, public and private, in virtually every industry, in a wide range of categories were submitted for consideration.
Sundance Vacations’ President, John Dowd, received a Bronze award for “Executive of the Year-Hospitality & Leisure”. Other executives nominated in Mr. Dowd’s category were Steve Wynn, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Wynn Resorts, Ltd. and Gold Stevie® Award winners, Steve Ells and Montgomery Moran, Co-CEOs of Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc.
Sundance Vacations’ Shamokin Marketing Team was a Bronze award winner for “Marketing Team of the Year”, and the Sundance Vacations’ “DAD” campaign received a Bronze award in the “Business Innovation of the Year” category.
The Stevie® Award trophy is one of the most coveted prizes given for achievement in business. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word that means “crowned,” the trophies were presented to honorees during a gala banquet on Monday, June 18 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York. More than 500 nominees and their guests attended. The presentations were broadcast live by the Business TalkRadio Network.
