With Mother’s Day just around the corner, many people may be struggling with the question of what to get their mom for that special day. (Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 10!)
What about Mother’s Day travel plans?
It can be hard to put into gift form the amount of thanks and appreciation that you have for your mother. Many people purchase cards, flowers, candy and more to show their admiration for their moms. These are all great things that your mother no-doubt loves and looks forward to each year, but this year, why not branch out a bit. Since the Mother’s Day holiday lands on the second Sunday of May each year, why not consider taking mom on a weekend getaway?
There are a number of great places that can have you and your mom having fun, learning new things, relaxing and most importantly, making memories that will last for the years to come. It would be a great way to show her that you care, plus it could score you a lot of points in the “Best Kid” Competition among your siblings.
Check out Sundance Vacations’ suggestions for some of the coolest places that you could take mom this year as well as some ideas for what to do when you are there. You can read the full article over on our Travel Blog: “Mother’s Day Travel Ideas”
