Sundance Vacations Traveler of the Day Winner Announced
Sundance Vacations is more than happy to announce the winner of our Sundance Vacations Traveler of the Day contest for the month of February!
Congratulations to John Stenz, who has been selected as the winner of the contest for the month of February, 2015. John, who finished with 152 votes, will now be able to select a charity or organization of his choice and Sundance Vacations will donate $500 to it in their name! John went to work, enlisting the help of the local news paper and his friends and family. He wanted to make sure that his photo won the contest so that he would be able to donate to the organization that he wanted to.
This vacation photo helped John win the contest for the month of February.
The winning photo, which was taken by John, featured a skiing scene in the wintertime that was taken in Stowe, Vermont.
John has selected the Lake Monticello Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, located in Virginia, as his organization of choice. Again, congratulations to both the winner and the selected organization that will benefit from this new contest.
The Sundance Vacations Traveler of the Day contest runs monthly and includes photos that have been sent in by our travelers. The photos are chosen at random and one is posted daily for the duration on the month. Travelers and our Sundance Vacations Facebook fans are encouraged to “like” or “share” the photo and each time they do, it counts as a vote toward that photo winning. At the end of the voting period, the votes are calculated and the photo with the most is declared the winner!
Sundance Vacations has thousands of happy travelers that take advantage of our wholesale travel product and we wanted to have a way to feature them. The “Sundance Vacations Traveler of the Day” contest is just one of the new ways that we are reaching out to and rewarding our travelers. Over the course of the February contest, we received over 766 votes and are looking forward to the results of our March contest.
This contest, which helps both local and national charities and organizations, comes just months after Sundance Vacations announced its new charity website, www.SundanceVacationsCharities.com. A website dedicated to raising awareness for helping charity organizations and more. Sundance Vacations Co-Owners, John and Tina Dowd, are firmly committed to giving back and are well known for their charitable pursuits.
