On Saturday, November 4th, Sundance Vacations employees gathered at Kington’s Kirby Park to walk, jog, and run in support of Breathe Deep Together NEPA and the LUNGevity Foundation. The 5K event is held annually to raise funds and awareness for lung cancer research. With live music, tables filled with fueling snacks, and a variety of basket raffles, the event drew in participants from across the county. Participants enjoyed the fresh air while taking in the gorgeous sights of Kingston and Wilkes-Barre as they trekked their way around the Luzerne County Levee Trail. Along with being a community sponsor, Sundance Vacations co-founder’s John and Tina Dowd also donated an 8 day/7 night vacation certificate to a lucky basket raffle winner. 30+ year Sundance Vacations employee and manager, Christina Allen, raised over $1,000 for the LUNGEvity Foundation in honor of her mother, Frances.
