Sundance Vacations Traveler of the Day Winner Announced for March
This great vacation photo allowed this month’s winner of the Sundance Vacations Traveler of the Day Contest to be able to donate $500 to the Knollwood PTO!
Sundance Vacations is happy to announce the winner of our Sundance Vacations Traveler of the Day Contest!
Congratulations to Vicky Huynh, who has been selected as the winner of the contest for the month of March, 2015. Vicky, who finished with 234 votes, will now be able to select a charity or organization of her choice and Sundance Vacations will donate $500 to it in her name!
Vicky has selected the Knollwood Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) as her organization of choice. Again, congratulations to both the winner and the selected organization that will benefit from this contest.
The “Sundance Vacations Traveler of the Day” Contest runs monthly and includes photos that have been sent in by our travelers. The photos are chosen at random and one is posted daily for the duration on the month. Travelers and our Facebook fans are encouraged to “like” or “share” the photo and each time they do, it counts as a vote toward that photo winning. At the end of the voting period, the votes are calculated and the photo with the most is declared the winner!
Sundance Vacations has thousands of happy travelers that take advantage of our wholesale travel product and we wanted to have a way to feature them. The “Sundance Vacations Traveler of the Day” contest is just one of the new ways that we are reaching out to and rewarding our travelers. Over the course of the March contest, we received over 1,000 votes and are looking forward to the results of our April contest.
Recently, the Traveler of the Day Contest was featured in the award-winning business section of the Times Tribune, a newspaper based in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The article focused on companies who use social media as a means to help benefit charities and organizations. This contest, which helps both local and national charities and organizations, comes on the heels of Sundance Vacations announcing their new charity website, www.SundanceVacationsCharities.org. A website dedicated to raising awareness for helping charity organizations. Sundance Vacations Co-Owners John and Tina Dowd are firmly committed to giving back and are well known for their charitable pursuits.
